About the event
Join Amy for an introduction to the basic principles of Polyvagal Theory, a framework for understanding and supporting regulation of the nervous system with compassion and consistency. Much of what we'll briefly explore may already be familiar, so Amy intends to share practical ways of befriending and gently supporting our mental, emotional, and physical experiences.
About Summer Worship Circles: Our church celebrates many traditions and diverse beliefs, and we explore these in different ways during our services each week. Our summer services are different from those of the regular church year. These gatherings are informal and participatory. We create this experience together with our engagement and the gift the presenters bring – their skills, talents, passions. Services are intimate and touching, light hearted and fun.
