About the event

How can we, and those we care about, shape our lives to fit our brains, rather than believing we have to pressure our brains to fit into a socially-expected box?

Aurora Holtzman, a school psychologist and neurodiversity coach from Camas, WA, will explore with us some of the common challenges of living as a neurodiverse person in a world structured for the more neurotypical. She brings a big toolbox of coping strategies to share, including humour, and invites us to “use our fire without getting burned,” the motto of her on-line Embracing Intensity podcast. There are gifts to share, as well as challenges and frustrations.

  • Sunday, July 20, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • Kelowna Unitarians

  • A suggested contribution of $10 would be appreciated to help cover expenses

Come with your questions, your ideas, and your curiosity. All are welcome.
