About the event

Join us for a presentation by Muhannad Ayyash and Jeremy Wildeman, co-editors of Canada as a Settler Colony on the Question of Palestine. Their book was the winner of the 2024 Canadian Studies Network  prize for Best Edited Collection in Canadian Studies. Their talk will examine the historical and political reasons for Canada's complicity in the Israeli 15-month genocidal assault against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. They will explore how Canada's settler policy informs and shapes Canada's foreign policy in Palestine and Israel. Their presentation will be followed by a time for questions.
