About the event
Presenter: Natalie Maxson // Worship Associate: Fae Shaw
Reflecting on the experience of being first on the scene of a tragic car accident in 2026, Natalie Maxson explores the ways we respond to suffering both individually and communally. Drawing on spiritual teachings from her Christian tradition, her experiences as a human rights advocate and on the front line with Indigenous land defenders, as well as her work as a clinical counsellor, she will interrogate why some situations may compel us to act while others may leave us feeling complacent.
