Flourishing Together (Annual Picnic Service)

“I get by with a little help from my friends.” That Beatles line could be used by almost anybody. When people work with others, when they help each other, things both feel better and get better. In this beautiful outdoor service, we will be “Flourishing Together” (this month’s theme). As Adam O’Dell of Soul Matters says, “Though we often fall short of the goal of beloved community, we continue to build it knowing that together, we can do more than ‘get by’.”

PLEASE NOTE: This service takes place at Kinsmen Park (Wardlaw and Abbott, with more parking at Morrison and Abbott).  We will set up on the side of the park that the washrooms are on. A potluck picnic will follow the service. Please bring a chair, beverage, potluck contribution, plate/cutlery (if you can) & sun protection.
