About the event

Kelowna Unitarians Social Justice Committee's Fall Series presents our Friday Film Night: "Rematriation"

The Kelowna Unitarians Social Justice Committee invites you to attend the first monthly film night.

About the Film

B.C.’s Old Growth Forests are virgin forests, untouched since the last ice age. Representing one of the last lines of defense against climate change. Less than 3% remains.

Rematriation explores scientific, cultural, economic and sociopolitical perspectives, as citizens fight to protect the last big trees in British Columbia from being felled. Like peeling back layers of an onion, the lessons we take away permeate the fabric of the Canadian identity.
