About the event
Presenter: Jane Vallentyne & Guests // Worship Associate: Linda Guebert
Love wears far more faces than the romantic one our culture so often spotlights. This service invites us to a broader encounter with love/bonding in all its forms – in the companionship of a pet, singing in a choir, being held in nature’s embrace, the loving kindness we offer ourselves, and in the sacred connections that connect us to something greater. We’ll hear a little about how these and other activities increase the production of oxytocin (aka the love/cuddle hormone) which has significant health benefits in addition to generating feelings of love, belonging, safety and trust… and what’s not to LOVE about that?
