About the event

The Meditation and Support Circle is a new initiative being piloted by a few members of the Kelowna Unitarians. It is peer-led and rooted in compassion and inclusivity with disability at the forefront. Inspired by (though not limited to) Buddhist practice and meditation, this group seeks to help people in their daily lives through disability, chronic illness, mental health struggle or simply just stress management.


It will begin with a short talk to set the tone, will be followed up with a group meditation and finally a discussion group as long as time allows.

How can we cultivate a magnanimous attitude? What can we do to keep it in the face of extraneous events in our lives?
