About the event
Kelowna Tree Protectors and Kelowna Unitarians are offering a free, all-ages drop-in workshop with circle dancing and art activity themed to connect us with our long heritage with trees.
Circle dancing is an ancient and inclusive ritual where people join together and move in a circle. Instructor Kelly Warden will teach us some basic dances that celebrate our connection with trees and each other. It’s a fun and uplifting experience for all ages.
We’ll also learn about tree rings and make some beautiful art inspired by their magnificent circles!
Everyone is welcome to join us, no dance experience required.
