Our beloved congregation is a little like a flower: it has its roots in its history and structure and in the flower of Principles and aspirations. The plant needs both parts to grow. Flower Communion will be held during this service.

Our beloved congregation is a little like a flower: it has its roots in its history and structure and in the flower of Principles and aspirations. The plant needs both parts to grow.
Flower Communion will be held during this service. We ask that you please bring a flower to share in the ritual, and if you are flower rich, perhaps bring two or three to share with our gardenless friends. Flowers are placed in a shared vase and near the end of the service the flowers are redistributed so that each person takes home a different flower.
About the Flower Communion
The flower communion service was created in 1922 by Unitarian minister Norbert Čapek (CHA-pek) and his wife Maja (Mai-ya). They wanted to create a service that honored and celebrated the unique beauty and gift of each human life. A…
