'Harperman' Star Comes to KU
If the line, "Who’s the king of secrecy? Harperman, Harperman. Who has slashed the CBC? Harperman, Harperman.” isn't familiar to you as a Canadian, you may want heave aside that rock you've been living under.
Back in June, Tony Turner, then a scientist working with environment Canada, decided to his angst into an acoustic poke at Canada's Prime Minister at the time, Stephen Harper.
His Youtube video exploded, becoming a viral phenomenon across Canada in a matter of days.
Today, with over three quarters of a million views, Turner's video continues to be a sardonic anthem of change for Canadians.
On Saturday, March 12th, The Kelowna Unitarians are delighted to present an exclusive performance by Tony Turner at the KU Church on Bertram Street.
Admission is $10 at the door (or pay what you can). The performance starts at 7:30pm.
